Did you cry when Bernie like ran away at the barmitzvah and Esther and Manny were in the garage watching the movie... It was sad lol..

Well, it takes a lot for me to cry (like Green Mile or Gladiator) so I didnt, BUT its was very very touching, and I love that. The whole film was mixed up with all the funny bits but underlined with this touching subject and moral. Aww

    hahahh! Poor you!
To mine I can add Titanic (ok this is SO unoriginal) A Little Princess and My Girl...oh and Braveheart, but not when he dies but the very, very end. And sometimes just really pathetic random stuff. lol
However Green Mile is still my ultimate! lol

^ I've tried like 2 times now to sit and watch Lord of the Rings, but I just can't be bothered after just few minutes, same with Star Wars.
But Braveheart sort of works on me. All that dying, heroism and Scottish thing....

I tried to watch The Two Towers but just couldn't get into it. Star Wars I can sit through, all six of them. I have watched that series of films soooo many times.

Star Wars gets more exotic with aliens and CGI creations as you go through the films in production order.

I have seen hort clips of them, both old and new, and hmm... it looked rather silly! But I guess it looks better when you get into the mood and right order of watching.

Silly? Star Wars...silly? It is the story of the rise, fall and redemption of the man who became Darth Vader Dark Lord of the Sith.

I must admit, I had no idea whats the actual story is in Star Wars. How on Earth did I manage that...
I suppose you have to watch it from the very beginning and then you are "in" it and move it forever. Prob same with LOTR.

That's cool. Not everyone can say they have been a fan of sci-fi action/fantasy all their lives. Of course not everyone can say they're as old as I am!

Well, you are still far from pension!

I suppose, I am not an actual sci fi/fantasy fan. I am just sort of a pseudo fan. So, all my life I been "naturally" avoiding them. Well apart from The X Files and Spielberg's Taken...and a glimse of Star Trek and DW. Oh and there used to be a GREAT documentary style program about real UFO witnesses and so (I think it was American) in the early 90s. AND reading Erich Von Daniken type books about aliens "before".

I watched Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law in Sherlock Holmes this afternoon. I also finally FINALLY watched the first episode of the new season of Doctor Who. Both were just wonderful to behold.

The Graduate is supposed to come on over here sometime soon. Saw an advert for it last night. It looked ok to me. A bit daring though.
