There should have been a moment like that in David's last episode!

You are too right! That would of made the episode ten times better and would probably satisfy fans of The Doctor and Donna's relationship! :) Most people we're satisfied with the fact that he got to see all his companions and that Donna was finally happily married. But us crazy fans needed that moment between them

Thats EXACTLY what I needed...badly! lol

At least Donna seems finally happy and at peace with herself, but I too would have enjoyed one final scene with the Doctor.

We all love Catherine Tate/Donna Noble here but regret how her character did not get a proper and more fitting closure in the last special.

The doctor and Donna are definitely one of my favourite pairings. Their chemistry together was perfect for the show and i really miss watching them together.

i just wish Donna had been able to remember the doctor for a few moments, i think that would have been a touching moment.

They will both be sadly missed.

I feel the same way - Matt Smith isn't wrong for the part of the Doctor, only he will never be as epic as Tennant. The same goes for the companion actually, I want Donna back!

It is kind of like when Tom Baker quit the part in 1981 and Peter Davison stepped in to replace him. It will never be exactly the same and the portrayal will divide fandom, but the newcomer is good in his own right.

okay so i miss Donna Noble terribly...i really do. I shed a tear everyday for her, but i'm actually glad she's not the assistant now. I just don't think she'd suit being with matt as the doctor. Does that make sense to anyone?? i think she suited david better

I do still think Donna is the best assistant though, along with Billie piper

I liked Billie Piper's Rose Tyler in the beginning but grew disenchanted with her and eventually became enamored with Catherine as the companion. I don't know what to make of Amy Pond yet! I've heard stories the character will ne a bit on the promiscous side.
