Heh good for you! I own the DVD but seldom watch it as I always have too many other shows on my list to watch! AS far as Dr Who goes I have been spending some of my time watching classic serials and The End of Time.

Oh yeah, ist hard to keep up with all the shows. lol
Must admit, I have never watched "classical" eps. Apart from one I think, quite a wile ago and i wasnt exactly "taken" by it. But its in my plan to watch at least one ep with every Doctor.

haha yeah, I am an old school fan and have seen all the episodes from Third Doctor on and several from the black and white days of the first two Doctors as well. Right now I am currently waiting for the set with the 1983-84 serials The King's Demons and Planet of Fire, which feature the Fifth Doctor's ongoing struggles with the Anthony Ainley Master.I enjoyed those stories as a teen and can't wait to see them recieve the DVD treatment.

Oh nice! I know, its a different experience when you continue watching something that you've seen years ago.
Actually it was quite a coincidence that I started to watch at all. I knew "Doctor Who" is this old, very famous show, but I never though of watching it. (Plus I am not originally from Britain, so its not like I had a lifetime of hearing about it) Then in 2007 came out the Christmas special with Kylie Minogue, so I though "well, I might as well watch it and see what the fuss is about" Though I was all pretty skeptical anyway. But I loved it! And David Tennant was deff helping. lol

Oh yes I've been involved with Dr Who since I was five or six years old! My passion has waned at times from overkill but I always come back to this wonderful world every now and again for a story or three. lol.
Being american I have no idea what it is like to be in Who's home country, but contrary to belief Dr Who was well known over here as far back as the 80s thanks to PBS.

Re: Noble Vs Sontaran:Last Man Count
Oh, I sort of always assumed you live in the UK. LOL
Yeah, I have heard that DW is quite big in America. Of course not like CSI or House or something, but very popular in its own right and "space"
I am Latvian originally. And before I moved to UK, I had never heard of it. And thats strange cause I been growing up with SO many British shows. Then again, might be it has something to do with me being 1 year old when the original series ended and so trough the 90s Dr. was sort of dead and unpopular.
Btw. Do you like The X Files? I've loved it since I was 6 or 7.

Re: Noble Vs Sontaran:Last Man Count
No no I just WISH I was in the UK! It has to be better than living in the US of A.
I LOVE british series! I sometimes think that I was born in the wrong country as I love everything british so very much. Dr Who, comedies, etc.
Now the X Files is a series I used to watch now and again, my father was a huge fan back in the day (circa mid to late 1990s)and I saw the first movie based on the series but not the second one.

Re: Noble Vs Sontaran:Last Man Count
Same, I guess I was born there only to MOVE here later... (just to make things more complicated)
Yeah, I love British comedy, nothing comes close. Especially all the old ones. Are You Being Served? being my absolutey favourite ever. From American, my fav is The Addams family (the 60s series)
Oh, your father must have a good taste.
btw have you ever been to the UK or Europe?

Oh yes, my father has a variety of interests!
Sadly, I have never been to the Uk and/or Europe. I would like to one day.

I don't know about that. I have seen many forums in my time online, and some of the most populated ended up being among the worst of my vast experience. You'd be suprised.

Re: Noble Vs Sontaran:Last Man Count
Thats true. When there is a big group of people going crazy, the effect is quite impressive. What I ment is that with more people there is a greater need for order and it can be more formal and so the overall look is more structured, opposite to more laid back and independent little group... well... ok I better stop before I confuse myself. lol
