Doctor Who Audiobook read by Catherine Tate

Just bought this on play.com and thought you guys might be interested. Apparently she's incredibly good at doing the characters. Definitely worth a listen! I've been wanting to get into audio books recently so here is a perfect oppurtunity.

It's not an episode that was aired in the series. It's a totally seperate story thats been written and Catherine has done the audiobook for it. Can hardly wait for it to arrive. I'm going to listen to it on a sunday morning while having brekfast in bed.

Sounds fascinating. I'll have to check it out. I own just one Doctor Donna book thanks to my parents who gave me it last Christmas. They know how I adore Donna Noble. :LOVE:

These audiobooks are great! Catherine is really good at voicing all these different characters (really? You don't say..) She has such a lovely, calm voice, I like listening to it before I go to sleep, it's like Catherine reading me a bedtime story I liked The Forever Trap better than The Nemonite Invasion though, I'm listening to that now, but I can't really get into it..

David Tennant has done one final audio book that is coming out soon, so I imagine the Tenites will scarf it up when the time comes for it's release.

I am still not sure whats in the audiobooks. Are those like audio versions for the eps we have had on TV (for hearing impaired)?

I think they are original stories with different actors doing the voices.

OH! But who writes the stories then? Can't be the TV show's writers...so they are like alternative DW team! Weird.

Not sure, I believe it's a series of writers hired by the BBC Audio department.

Probably something like that. They sure know how to make out most of it.

It's a franchise. They know they got a good money-making thing going on there.
