Well, I did...it was good, though I am getting more and more annoyed lately. There are way too many moments when I get reminded (one way or the other) that I am "not from here", but I dont even feel like a foreigner. Bloody English and my damn accent! However TV is pretty good, apart from some usual crap, but thats like everywhere. :D

Yes and the Doctor appears in the third season or something. But the Brigadier is in Season Two.

Re: Doctor Who
With the possible exception of the marathon we have only had the first season over here so far. I quite enjoyed watching Maria.

Re: Doctor Who
I read all about the finale part one last night. Can't wait till it hits America. It sounds fantastic. Marvellous. Award-winning, even.
Maria was the schoolgirl-neighbor friend to Sarah Jane in Season 1 of the Sarah Jane Adventures. What a looker.

Re: Doctor Who
I am having a friend record the last three episodes for me off BBC America. That is all that is left of the season being shown on there.
"It's a trap!"

Re: Doctor Who
Matt Smith is signed for at least one or two more series. I don't know, but I am not too sure I am as interested in this version of the series as I have been previously. I miss the episodes with Billie Piper. Well, she HAS been starring in a lot of my Who dreams lately.

Re: Doctor Who
Yeah always only like 12 or 13 epps. :(
And yeah Matt Smith is deff. staying for a while.
lol. I see your point Regenerator. For a bit I was drifting away, but the stories are good and I finally sort of got used to Matt, but I STILL want David Tennant back. And thats final.

I wish Eccleston was still involved. He and Billie were great together.

Re: Doctor Who
Tennant was he who got me into the DW in the first place. I think when you first start watching a new show, its very important, who has the lead role and then you can follow the storyline.

True words spoken, Nooob. I like David especially in his first year as the 10th Doctor.Just not as much as Chris.

Pheew, I was starting to think you really dont like him. My first ep was the Christmas special with Kylie (Voyage of the Damned). Good old times.

Re: Doctor Who
Oh yeah that's the one where the Queen says something like "Happy Christmas, Doctor" after he saves her palace from the falling Titanic. I admit I gave David a lot of tries, and have seen every one of his episodes except for 1 (The Waters of Mars) but just couldn't handle all the larger than life plots RTD wrote for him.

Re: Doctor Who
Yeah thats the one.
Waters of Mars is really good actually.
It got dodgy sometimes, but I didnt feel it much until I read what others think. I kinda switched my brain into DW mode at the very beginning and just didnt look a the flaws. However there have been many great moments. I liked that emotional over the top stuff (but I see many harcore fans cant stand it, and I understand why), I just didnt like stupidities RTD liked to write in. So its a shame David's era will be remembered as time of flawed writing.

Re: Doctor Who
Well Ten did well in Human Nature/Family of Blood, although he wasn't being the Doctor much of the time but human John Smith. Blink, Utopia, The Unicorn and the Wasp, The Stolen Earth, and the library 2 parter were also memorable. My parents also liked the Adipose even though they were in a lightweight story (Partners in Crime). They also love Captain Jack.
