It would be nearly impossible to follow some of the storyline and story arcs if they skip episodes like that!

Yeah they like, stopped showing season 3 halfway through aswell.. Like all of a sudden it was just not on then it started again like a few months later. man it was shit. But yeah HOPEFULLY uktv will do it right. >.>

Yeh like how watching Series 4 will confuse you with the final episode with Rose Tyler returning if you never saw the build up or immediately preceeding episodes.It just won't make complete sense will it?

Yeah sky replied to me and were all 'Season 5 will be starting soon but we havnt had a schedualed date as of yet' etc etc and I replied and was all 'Yah so you're just gonna completly skip out season 4 then.'

Parties can be a good way to meet fellow Whovians but I just don't understand the Donna hate some fans share.

Doc 11 so far is wild and free but keep in mind he is still undergoing post regenerative trauma so he hasn't settled down as of yet.

Argh sky emailed me AGAIN and were like 'The last season Prime screened was season 4' or something. WTF NO. I replied all 'Yeah na just saying, the last season Prime played was actually season 3. Season 4 is Catherine Tate and David Tennant. You went Season 3 then the specials that come AFTER season 4.'

Okay so i need to say what i think about the new Doctor...

i actually think he's pretty awesome!!! You're right he hasn't settles down yet because of the regeneration but his mannerisms are just like Davids were when he was the Doctor!! He's crazy and eccentric and runs about everywhere and is pretty funny too.

Now don't get me wrong people, i still love David more than anyone, he will always be my doctor...but as it goes, they've picked a pretty good guy to take his place me thinks!!

Yep, the 11th is fine. But its still hard to say from only one episode, its more like an introduction. In a way he seemd a bit "Tennantish", but he'll prob settle into his own skin soon.

But I am annoyed by people (IMDB), before they were all "this new guy will be horrible, he is too young...weird...bla bla, I wont watch anymore" and now everyone is "He is awesome, fav. Doctor..." So, didnt they realise before that he will be good, did they think that the producers are idiots and will take on someone who is crap!!!???!!! SO two faced!
Of course I was far from happy when I first learned "who is the next", but I was pretty sure he'll be alright anyway no matter how i feel now.

Amy, hmm. I suppose she is a mix of both. She is not all crazy about him (at least for now) and seems to stand on her own, but at the same time she has been obsessed with him for years before...so who knows how she turns out to be!

Yeah she had drawings and dolls of him all over the place from what I heard.


The new Doctor does not seem to have a saying of his own yet but he did say Fantastic at one point.

So, I watced the ep number 2!!!
Liked the story line, good ending. Still not sure about the Doctor though. I suppose I need more time, cause when I look at him, I keep wondering - where is Tennant? Amy - no problems, she is good.

Oh, so you are delayed by 2 weeks! Thats a pitty, we cant do "synhronised" discussions. But well, 2 weeks comparing to years as it often happens in cases like this, is good.

Each season seems to end up being broadcasted over here in a shorter and shorter timespan following the UK transmission.
Series 1 took a full year (2006) Series 2 was months later, Series 3 was end of 2007 and Series 4 was only a few weeks after. (2008).

Thats called progress, I suppose!

In the old days (circa late 1980s) we were a year behind the newer episodes as well.I miss those glory days.

Oh yeah, last weekend [queens bday weekend] it was 3 days of Dr Who eps - 6 hours a day! The top 10 best episodes [of season 1-4 minus end of times] with the two parters counting as one episode.
Omg it was best weekend everrrrr. I think there were... 5 Catherine eps? Turn Left... Silence in the library & the other one, The Stolen Earth&Journeys End... Man it was good, I was talking to a fellow DW fan [he's year 8 so its kinda shame talking to him lol] about which would be the top 3.. He thought it'd be Unicorn & The Wasp, the master eps and 4th final eps and I guessed Master Eps, Season4 final and Blink [not in that order.] and OHMYGOD guess who was right! Booyah ahha. Blink is the bestest episode of all time man. In the countdown he was lik e'Blink wont be in it..' and then up came number one :')

Oh yay! So many season 4 eps then!
Blink is deff one of the best ever.
Queens birthday weekend...oh it slowly comes back to me. I didnt even feel it, definilely do extra DW here!

Edit. Oh it was on UKTV! Damn, I dont have that one. They always show show many good things on it, but I only get to see the ads for them.

I love UKTV aye, it's one of my fave channels lol.
